Just thought you should know.

This is for the only person that reads my blog.

Well, it's over between me and you know who(I don't use names on my blog)
Yeah, I know it was heartless, but I did break up in a text......didn't really want to, it just kinda happened.

Anyway, just keeping you updated

Hello again

Hello to anyone who actually reads my blog(or stumbles across it accidentally)

A quick update on my life recently:
I got a job(not telling where)
I obtained Fable 2(Which ROCKS!, Although some things could have been done better...like the will abilities)
I'm not going to TKD anymore, but I am going to the Gym...not exactly an equal trade but meh.
We have a Christmas program on Sunday at our church that we've been practicing for.

I'll update y'all when more stuff happens.

The Dark Knight

I went to go see The Dark Knight last Saturday and I must say It was quite entertaining.
Now, I won't spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet.

Christian bale's 'Batman' voice in this movie is much deeper than in the last one(almost so deep that you have trouble understanding him) And he gets some cool new modifications to his equipment(They rock!)

Heath Ledger(R.I.P) did very well as the Joker, he was dark and at some times psyco, You can't compare him to Jack Nicholson in the old batman, This Joker is in a class of his own.

Aaron Eckhart(Who plays Harvey Dent) was well picked for the role, And this movie puts a twist on how Two-face was made that way.

Michael Caine returns as Alfred, and plays the part perfectly.

There you have it, a spoiler-free, semi-review of The Dark Knight from ANBU.

Been too long.

Hello my duckies! It's been way too long since my last post (sorry, I've been busy) can you believe that I still haven't been swimming yet this summer? I haven't........ Anyway, let me tell you what I've been doing lately.

Hmm, Softball is over now, we lost almost all our games but during the tourny at the end we won a few(I don't know how we placed so don't ask) I'll probably play again next year and I promise i'll update after every game.

I don't remember if I told you but, I went to D.C in july?(around then) Actually my sister got to go and I got to tag along(but she had to go to meetings and things) Went to a Nats game while we were there. they played the LA angels and only won by 1 point(got a nats hat while I was there too) We also managed to get a tour of the White House!(someone cancelled) It was really cool, best part was, It was a self-guided tour, so no rushing through rooms to stay with a group(Like in the Library of Congress) but they don't have any visitors restrooms.........so that was a bit of an inconvinience. Also my first time in a plane(even if it was just a small one) I don't get why so many people are afraid of flying, my only problem was that I was stuck between two old guys and one of them would not shut up, and that the seats are kinda small(but thats a personal thing since i'm over 6ft) I think that about sums up the D.C trip.

Missoula was here at the beggining of August, most of you don't know what that is but the my peeps that do read this do. This year was Robin hood and I think it turned out pretty well.

We(you know who you are) had our blue belt test just a little while ago(this time Mr David was the proctor, and it was his first test he'd done by himself) it went pretty well, even though my left leg kicks need work. Now we get to learn some awesome new kicks, such as the Double front kick(you may know it as a drop kick) a Jumping 360 Hook, a Spinning 360 hook(you may know this as the Chuck Norris Roundhouse) and a few others. During our last Friday class we got to do sparring(yay sparring) it wasn't really serious sparring since my sister can't really kick with her left leg right now, so I was just throwing some flashy kicks in there.

And just last week was the Fair, usually we have a carnival with a midway and all that, well this year apparently it was "too expensive" and we didn't get it(phooey). My sister got a booth there to sell raffle tickets(and decided to paint faces as well) we actually did better with the painting than the tickets, so we're gonna do it again at the next one.

(Also, I've been playing Rock Band, but you think i'm gonna tell you that?)

Now that all that is over I can post again.

Softball game #4 Da Kru

I know I didn't tell you guys about the first few games(but who cares).
This is for Jack anyway since I don't know anyone else who reads this('if' anyone else reads this)

Today we played against 'Da Kru' (which has three players on it that are our next door neighbor and her nieces) We started off pretty good, our lefty rover got a good hit and ended up with a home run(also bringing in 2 other players) many batters got base hits and I ended up hitting a great line drive right at the pitcher......which he caught. Anyway the wind started to pick up(and by pick up I mean go from nice 10-15mph to 20-25 mph, dusty too.) Both of the pitchers were throwing lousy because of that, and one guy(Mike I think, hit one over the fence,((wind was helping))
The game was cut short(as it usually is) We lost --(large-ish number) to 4

Oh yeah, TJ was hurt last game and is out for the season. Steve will be back next week and Cole(Don't know how to spell it......He's the guy who looks German) will be gone.

That's all I have for now but there will be more, oh yes, there will be more.

Green belt test.

Last Saturday we had another belt test(we don't get these very often), And I, Jack, a little dude named Vince and my sister,(Did Johnna too?...can't remember) all tested for out green belts.
You're probably thinking "Wait! what happened to Yellow belt? did they get that before Orange?" Actually, in our Dojang, Orange belt comes before Yellow(I don't know why, don't ask) And we double-tested, so basically we skipped Yellow belt because we knew all of the required stuff for Green. First off we had several strikes and kicks to do, like the 360 roundhouse(tornado kick) and the Spinning hook kick, which all of us had been practicing......but only with our right leg.....so that looked real bad when we had to kick from a left fighting stance....heh..

We also had Board breaking, I seriously thought we'd have to break more than we did, We had to break 1-2 boards with a Forward Back fist and another 1-2 with a spinning back kick(which I'm not very accurate with...) Jack had a little problem with the forward back fist(Probably because we never really used it before) but she hung in there and broke it after a couple more tries.

After that(or was it before....hmm..) we had Sparring, this is where we put on boxing gloves and padded helmets and get to show out skill at using the moves we've learned, Jack got to go against Heather(Who either is a prison guard or teaches boxing at the women's prison, I can never remember)anyway, they both did really good(especially since we don't spar much either) I got to go against my sister, that was really fun, I just kept blocking whatever she threw(every now and then she hit me) Then I got to spar with the Master at the school, I took a good couple of kicks to the head(one of which ended the match) and a sweet bruise on my arm the next day, but I happened to do a spinning back kick while he was doing a jumping kick and put him on the floor, so I think i did okay.

Then at the end he gives out a belt to those who made it(Which was everyone since he won't let you test if he doesn't think you're ready). He actually didn't have all the belts there so my sister and Jack don't get their belts until...today. But we made it, and now that we're at an Intermediate level we get to learn all kinds of new stuff, but we don't get to make as many mistakes as we did when we were still Orange.

I think that's all,

Re: Warrior,Maybe...

First off. Like you, there's not a lot that scares me(other than the dark.......just kidding) most of it is mental, like not wanting to fail or lose(I'd probably flip if I ever failed a test) or my best isn't good enough, stuff like that.

Secondly, about being competitive, It's okay to want to do better than someone else or even yourself(Stronger than I was yesterday!) just as long as you don't go too far and hurt yourself. Also most guys don't like to lose, especially at video games, even more so to a girl(So you'll have to go easy on some of them). Personally, I think it's cool that there's someone that can beat me at Gh2 or Mortal Kombat, it just means I have to get better.

Thirdly. You're one of the toughest girls I know, I don't know anyone else that can get hit in the face with a 5-gallon bucket lid an be all cool after(All the other girls I know would just sit there and start to wail and stuff). I think another thing that scares me is hurting people, since I've always been bigger than the people I hang around, I have to be careful, so thanks for hanging in there, even with all the times I've hurt you.

Fifthly. You don't have to fight to look strong, and you don't have to be strong to fight. You're not going to be one of those brawlers you see that can stand there and take a bunch of hits, what you need to do is build up your speed, Muhammad Ali wasn't really strong, but he was fast and that's why he won, he never really got hit.

(In case some of you don't know me, this post is dedicated to Jack, whose blog you can get to by going to my profile, down to the shabang, and to her profile.)

I guess that's all, See ya later
